Rims On The River.

Hal's dream...rows and rows of antique vehicles restored in all their splendor. Though most were in beautiful eye-cathing condition, others needed the roar of their engines to prove their existence. One in particular was named "Tetanus on Tires". As you could probably imagine...it was a sad old delapidated truck that nearly touched the ground it was so low. Sadly I did not get a picture.

I Heart NY Pizza.

The Rio Rancho variety is AMAZING.

Azalea Fest.

The North Carolina Azalea Festival transformed downtown this weekend. The streets were filled with hand-crafted goods of all kinds, choices of face painting, faux tattoos, caricatures, skateboarding demo, crazy dangerous motorcycle demo, bbq, Hawaiian Ice, and one of my personal favorites, funnel cake (topped with caramel). The weather was gorgeous, the wind (at times) was fierce, and the crowd of people quite pleasant. This festival originally began in 1948, and well, they've done it again. Thanks Wilmington for such a fun way to celebrate the arts and ring in the Spring season.

solitude.

the weight of glory.

"We live, in fact, in a world starved for solitude, silence, and private: and therefore starved for meditation and true friendship."

Lord, grant that I might not so much seek to be loved as to love.
